Easier than said darling.Unfortunately ,to make it to too you have to be ruthless and ambitious .Mostly be able to survive every ladders that comes in your way.Her advice sounds reasonable but it's not easy .Only someone who have seen it all know what it is truly like.Bollywood is cruel and you have to be ruthless and survive.

i appreciate alia's guts for admitting that CC exists in bollywood unlike madhuri,who lied thru her teeth..and cautioned to be careful ! Whatelse should she say ?

So she can't give reasonable advice on the matter because she has not suffered like that? I guess we can't either. Let's all shut up here and keep our opinions to ourselves and let the casting couch victims speak.

Kudos to Alia for acknowledging a problem that exists. So many people act like it doesn't happen.

Her advice her is primary class level but at least she acknowledged it.

Also what response should she have given?? "Oh I am so sorry for casting couch are happening because of me and only me, Agar mai na hoti toh, fair selection hota, don't worry I will retire tomorrow, so those who have complain with my existence in the industry can sleep properly".

We should be grateful for small mercies. Atleast she accepts that there is CC in BW unlike Anushka, Madhuri who went thru with CC and pretend there is no CC.

As for Fawad he has no connection to Bollywood or India whatsoever. I see no reason for him to bash his own country.

I dont get how we still go after people who arent affected by CC or dont acknowledge CC.

What about going after folks who are known for CC? Everyone's says about Subhash Ghai doing CC but he is still respected.

People who succumb to casting couch have inferiority complex and don't trust themselves. The moment they give in, they lose the right to talk about it. This is not victim shaming because in 9 out of 10 cases casting couch is voluntary. People are so desperate to see themselves on screen that they forget the fact that the mass media is wide and they can grab attention by doing youtube videos and if their work is really good, land up with a movie.

Another way out is tv serials. Most of the serials have auditions or one can join a theatre groups in mumbai. Thank god theatre is still alive there.
