Alia has lots of similarities with my favorite GOT character Arya. maybe because of that I like her more.

Opening / Lifetime decides 2 important factor for any Star

- His/Her Rank in Top 10

- His/Her STARDOM

On Opening Section, She has come a long way to deliver a 7 plus opening on just her own without Main Hero support, while with pairing She hasn't given Record Breaking ones.

She is Half way through, 1 Big Opening / 1 Big Lifetime (even if it isn't in All Time) will push her upwards toward Numero Uno position, for now it's DEEPIKA PADUKONE No.1.

Not no 1 yet but surely she is working her way up. Alia has really chosen movies with care, mixing both entertainers and good stories and she gave good acting performances. Raazi will strengthen her acting credentials more. Now only drawback is Alia lacks sex appeal, can there be a no 1 heroine without sex appeal?

No , Not even close and she will never be ...her career will be over soon and there is nothing to remember in her career than Kjo .

She is the only Star Kid who has not struggled at all , atleast other star kids do some struggle after getting launched

Let her come out of Kjo's shadow , then will see for how long she survives and then talk abt her being #1

She is getting there. People are beginning to want to see a movie because she stars in it. Only 25 years old, does not look like a model, few PR gimmicks; just sheer talent. She will go far and prove to be an icon of our time. Good luck to her.

She is definitely getting there. I still think Deepika is a lot more popular among the general public but Alia is definitely doing better with each film. Nepotism sucks, KJo sucks, it's pathetic how he shoves her down everyone's throat yet nothing can take away the fact that she makes full use of the opportunities given to her. I thought she was fantastic in Raazi. My mom couldn't stop raving about how good she was. And she has no idea how Alia is connected to Karan Johar or Mahesh Bhatt 😆So that's a win right there 😆

She is getting there , still now No, but she is one who is capable of replacing the present generation.

Other star kids are a disappointment if you ask me , though I will wait for their debut before judging.

Varun and Alia debuted at the same time.

Varun's film October didnt appeal to people,so the film opened low.

Alia's film Raazi appealed as a spy thriller..it is a big hit.

Varun's biggest hits are two franchise films-Judwa 2 and ABCD2.His other two hits are HSKD and its sequel-both of which had Alia.

Who has a better market? Varun is ahead-not because he is a MALE actor-but because his films reached more people.

What I am coming to is this- apart from heroes who debuted in the 90's-rest have to build a fan base by picking the right films.

In this I agree with BOI.An actor(male and female) has to appeal to a very large audience several times to establish a ready market.

Is Alia no1 among actresses..I am not sure-her body of work is still not big enough.her problem is that she needs to find MORE co-stars,with whom she can make those 200 cr-300 cr films.. and reach the B and C centers.

She totally lacks the sex appeal and diva like personality which heroines from Hema,Zeenat,Parveen Rekha,Mads,Sri,kat,PC,DP,Bebo have.It will be a struggle for her.

BUT I am so happy that she will get credit for her future films with her contemporaries.

NOW ,No one can take that away from her
