I've always thought PcJr was a very over-rated actress- Zoya & Dolly were 2 different sides of the same coin. She acted well in both films though but she's over-rated as an actress because we've such wonderful ones like Shraddha Kapoor, Kat etc so anyone who is 1.5 times better than them, is hailed as "very good." She isn't. Now her cousin on the other hand...

That's pretty much why Alia is successful...and the fact that she currently has no competition. Yet.

she was so so natural in LVRB..W*F happened to her acting is the saddest part..coz often bad actors become good and improve but seldom good ones become bad..

Trio in SOTY. Lmaoo, how times change! Didn't expect Aloo to reach here but this is what opportunities & talent gives you. Dhawan I always knew would do well but THIS well? No, I didn't. Sid is the worst of the lot. Literally a stunning mannequin.

I think it's because when you're raw, you're not really acting. You're just being yourself so whatever expressions you do are natural and look good. That bubbly stuff she did in the beginning is just her personality. She is the same way even in interviews.

As you become more established, the rawness disappears and you really have to act now. She's probably not that good an actress when she actually has to think and manipulate her emotions and not just be herself on screen.

I thought you would say something of the sort but that's something I can never agree with. Aloo is actually talented unlike Sid or to an extent PCJr. 😆 It'll be interesting to see her being overshadowed by Jhaaanvi & Tara etc but am sure she will come out tops- Woman is bloody ambitious & driven!

I was moreso talking about the girls. Alia is doing well but again, when you have that much support and opportunities being handed to you on a silver platter - anyone would do well.

Its different with other star kids...because they do get work...but they don't really get "good work". Even an Abhishek Bachchan has flourished in good films.

I know you will not agree with me, I can agree that Alia has improved and is doing well - but just because of the background dynamics going on I cant fully support her or even Varun for that matter. I know everyone does it and everyone takes advantage of nepotism but it is a little excessive in their case. I am not saying they are not talented or don't deserve it...I am simply commenting on the unfairness.

^^OH GOD PLS. Like others are saints who would not take these life-changing opportunities!! Just be frank & call it jealousy/hatred, but let's not disguise it for what it is. As a movie viewer I really DNGAF where someone has come from & people really should stop pretending to be all self-righteous & mainly, hypocritical. I don't mean you. I mean everyone who keeps ranting about this. It's a problem only till you get that same offer. And if you still reject it, I'll doff my hat to you. We won't agree on this so it's fine. :) Chuck it!
