Nepotism is really non existant in HW.

They actually hold 100s of auditions to find the right person.

And thats why they succeed

I know the reason for change of location. What I tried to say was, how easily it was done.

Each region (Punjab or UP) have their own native culture which cannot be replicated. But Bollywood could do it (shift the location) because, it lacks those cultural nuisances (It is an outsider to both the cultures).
