The audience of Indian films are mostly males on the morning shows on Fridays. They can identify themselves better with ugly heroes. Ugly hero romancing a beautiful gori mem is like unattainable fantasy of most Indian men come true.

By the time women come in the Friday evening show to drool over a good looking man he would already have been declared as someone who doesnt have a BO pull by trade guys.

i don't watch movies for good looking faces..yes they won't hurt to look at but someone less good looking but more natural..more expressive onscreen..i will always choose that

which is why i will always watch a varun over a sid

a kareena over an aish

a konkona over a katrina

expressive faces are the biggest visual treat..wooden faces regardless how appealing lose all appeal..

Bollywood is filled with star kids. Most of the current gen actors as well as 80 s& 90s actors are ugly.Ugly men give birth to ugly children.it's nt the child's fault if their parents look gross n ugly.

It's hard to break out as an actor without any connections , it much more easy for women , that was until now , now even they don't with shanya jhanavi Ananya Alia alanana suhanaa etc etc coming.

Because very good looking guys are bad actors..Sigh!! And people get bored of seeing the same 3 expressions pretty soon.But I have to mention here that many heavenly looking guys are great actors too when it comes to Hollywood-Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper,Ryan Reynolds,Brad Pitt.
