He only went after Anjali after her make over and when he was out of options since Tina was long dead. And then he had some disturbing things to say to her daughter like If I can be your father and mother why cant you be my blah blah.

This guy had some issues 😆

Yeah I don't know why she left a single, independent man and married a guy who dumped her before and had a daughter with another woman 😆

Rahul chooses Tina over Anjali is because Anjali is a tomboy and Tina is a woman. You can also see the same thing when he is hitting on different women during friendship day and he brushes Anjali off. Anjali also considers Rahul as a friend and not a lover, her feelings starts changing when Rahul says love is friendship. Rahul also goes after Anjali in the 2nd half is because she was his first love as well as Rahul was Anjali's.

What makes you say that Rahul was out of options, if he wanted to get married a second time he could have?

Rahul never says that to his daughter, he stops mid sentence.

I really liked Aman. He was truly in love with Anjali but the heart wants what the heart wants. Kajol is real life Anjali & Rahul is real life grumpy Devgan. 😆

Because Anjali never loved Aman. At the end she had to make a choice between a man who she doesn't love or her first love.

TBH, if you have seen the film then Aman forces Anjali to marry Rahul because she stops on the stais and is unable to makeup her mind.

Yes he had a lot of issues... Actually the whole movie had a lot of issues.. 😆 but funny thing is that when u watch this movie, you don't feel anything wrong with the story, characters etc.. it's only afterwards when u think about these things and dissect it, you realise how wrong some things were 😆

Like even I used to find kkhh a perfect film with no flaws lol.. until I came to this forum where I saw it being scrutinized closely.. and I know some friends who have seen it umpteen no of times and don't even realise these flaws unless I tell them and then they are like.. Haan yaar ye toh humne kabhi socha hi nahi😲 😆

Seriously, kudos to Kjo for being able to sell such a flawed product as this .. 👏 Rahul is an asshole, but iconic 😆

Yeah Rahul prefered Tina because she was more exotic and epitomised his "perfect" woman buto who is to say he wouldn't have chosen Anjali if she had stuck around and told him how she felt?

Maybe he'd have backtracked then bit as it stand, Anjali left and cut all contact with him while Tina became his new friend and tried to make-up for Anjali's loss.

Moreover, it's not about him falling for a more feminine Anjali but his seeing someone he has missed for 8 long years. Both of them are confused and more mature so they are able to see what they didn't back then.

Let's not forget that even Anjali didn't know how she felt until Tina came and became a threat.

The way I see it, we could have had this story in reverse with Aman coming in college and Rahul getting engaged to Tina in later years.
