Just checked wiki. So it seems a grey role for SRK. He nails those roles. Just hope they make the movie in entertaining way, and not boring or preaching.

While i say that SRK is great in negative role but BW hasnt really made him do a grey shade like this one before.

OT:

As someone who enjoyed the tamil movie, its pretty hard to match up cos its very nuanced. But im pretty sure Neeraj will make a FL for SRK's role nw, and prolly butcher up some parts of the story.

Someone mentioned about why Maddy and not Ajay or Akshay. I would say its best to keep it low key cos this movie rides only on the storyline. Keep budget low.

Good luck to SRK but VJS was incredible in the original. What swag and attitude. And gotta give it to the guy. He has chosen one quirky and unique film after another and refuses to get trapped in any image. He is actually playing a transgender in one of his next films and I don't see any mainstream hero agreeing to play such roles apart from him.

I loved Vikram Vedha.. Good story with gripping twists and storyline.
I am glad that Maddy has been retained for his role.. He is one underrated guy in Bollywood.. VJS was so good in his part.. He brought the proper balance of grey shades and his comic timing was on point.. I for one feel SRK is the only one who can do justice to Vedha's part in Bollywood.. I just hope he doesn't go overboard like Kkk.. kiran type negative role..

Neeraj is a good director, it depends on the director what he makes his actor do so going overboard is less likely.
