Casting is one of the most underrated aspect of film making. A well casted film is half the battle won because not every actor can play every role no matter how great. Even Oscar winners like Jared Leto completely massacre roles they're not meant to play(Joker- Suicide Squad) or George Clooney/Ben Afleck as Batman but Hollywood gets it right more often than not. They cast the right actor instead of a popular one.(Not always)
Bollywood is a completely different story. You acquire a script, then you go to 5 different stars and then tweak it or completely change it, depending on who says yes.
So which are the biggest miscasts in recent times? Again this has nothing to do with an actors capabilities, just the role.
Here's a few IMO
1) Ranbir Kapoor- Besharam: Complete and Utter disaster. Ranbirs urbane image is too strong.
2) Shahid Kapoor- Padmavat: Shahid can act the pants off anyone but Royalty? Just No
3) Salman Khan- Tubelight. Not much needs to be said about this one
4) The complete RGV ki Aag cast.
