Right here the dad tells him @ 1:08 that he is sick and has a disease. If he doesn't do something about it then he will end up dead.

He simply says. He doesnt care and its over for him. 😲😲😲

We will never know since tom Hanks quit the show after this episode.

Personally I think he ended up dead.
