Casting couch. The Kapoor name or the "ultimate insider" status did not save her from that. Her father was weak, they did not have money and her grandmother could not or would not protect her.

To be honest, I wouldn't take what the star kids say seriously. They very obviously want the word nepotism to be erased from the dictionary and for no one to talk about it ever again. That's why they ask others to "shut up" when asked about it and say things like it doesn't exist at all; it's only their insecurity talking. So if they can make anyone fit in to show the opposite they will. They're merely protecting themselves and their own. Tomorrow if it was in their interest to say Ranveer was an insider, they will find a way to say that too.

He went to a University abroad. Let me tell you that you have to be from a decently well to do family to have the financial resources to study abroad from India. Especially in places like Canada, US, and UK. University is not cheap. Let alone living expenses.
