If Mona was sensible enough not to make Boney and Sridevi's lives (who were both short of finances that time) miserable by filing bigamy cases or demanding hefty child support, then I feel she would have been sensible enough to end things amicably if Boney had at least TRIED to give things a dignified closure..

But since he didn't , why is Mona expected to be so... saintly about everything? Yup, she never gave a divorce - but he didn't really ask for it till he cheated, impregnated another woman and then walked out, did he?

She rolled over wrt. everything else.. she didn't file a case against him, didn't poison her kids' minds against him. Not giving him a divorce doesn't make her a doormat - because she wasn't interested in playing house with him just for his money.. In fact, she started working after that- in her mid-30s .

no-one is saintly in this scenario... all 3 involved were as grey as any normal human is... or maybe a tad bit more, as they are from BW...

I remember reading about their messy situation, mostly through Mona's interviews... So I am only wondering... how does it make sense to hold onto a marriage where the guy is not gonna be with you... I think she probably didnt divorce him, as she wanted him to struggle to marry Sridevi, rather not make things easy for him... but he did easily walk out and marry Sridevi, didnt he ?

Its a big thing that she didnt poison her kids against him.

yep, thats the only point where I think Boney-Sridevi were wrong... that they cheated Mona... otherwise I find it just sad that they found love after his marriage...

Most importantly. It was not any secret that Boney was father of 2 kids before he got married to Sridevi. She knew it from very first day. Is it okay to ask your husband to stay away from his kids?

Nope, all the points you mentioned are not at all okay... Thats why i questioned... If (sorry again this if is here) Boney had realized the moment he fell for Sri...had separated from Mona legally or at least physically...and married Sri n later consummated...

My dictionary fails to describe this scum called Boney... I can overlook the fact that he cheated on his wife, I can also overlook that he impregnated his Raakhi sister but I CAN Not overlook the fact that he ignored/ forgot that his two children ... how would they have felt when they saw his pics with his new wife and daughters holidaying all over the globe whereas not even once he had the decency to do the same with them ... Dharmendra / Hema Malini case is also on the similar lines but the reason it does not feel bad is because he never neglected his children from his first wife ...he was a great father to all his children whereas for Boney only his second wife and her daughters existed .
