I have on multiple occasions dating back to the very beginning of the Kangana - Hrithik saga, said I know he isn't a saint (or whatever the male equivalent of Snow White is). I don't believe in s**t shaming or victim blaming. I am not a sexist. I extend the same concern to female and male victims no matter their sexual or other history. I said from the beginning no one should take her word as proof of her allegations (just to review she didn't just say we dated she - without using his name allowing him to sue her - accused him of adultery, stalking, defaming, harassing, intimidating, interfering with her ability to work and date, releasing nude photos and videos, breaking an engagement, and making her fear for her very life) when from the very beginning her story was contradictory and she was by definition lying (for at least number of story variations - 1 times).

He originally said in effect that there was more chance of him having had an affair with the Pope than Kangana. Not nice by any stretch but pretty straight forward and NOTHING like what she accused him of. NOTHING else came from him until she accused him of : adultery, stalking, defaming, harassing, intimidating, interfering with her ability to work and date, releasing nude photos and videos, breaking an engagement and "spiced it up a little by also calling him just a product of his father, talentless, manipulative, devious and calculating but also dumb and silly - go figure. And insulted his father and ultimately one of the Ranauts even dragged his kids and ex wife into the mud the Ranauts must live in.

After Kangana accused him of adultery, stalking, defaming, harassing, intimidating, interfering with her ability to work and date, releasing nude photos and videos, and breaking an engagement, he defended himself by... releasing emails that she wrote showing her guilt and his innocence - emails she sent him and always knew he had and could release if she irritated him enough and then ... he did nothing and she talked and talked and talked and added how she was afraid for her very life to all her other claims and only then he went on tv (twice) and told verifiable facts without hoopla.

If you are seriously waiting for a court verdict, you will probably never be satisfied of her guilt. From day 1 he has just wanted her to leave him alone. Sueing her requires more interest in her than he has (ever) had.

That's how justice work. One has to prove his/her innocence while the prosecutor will try to prove said person guilty. The judge or jury (depends of the gravity of the offence) then has to decide on which side they are leaning.

That's why both Kangana and Hrithik have lawyers handling this case 😊

Every accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The onus is on the accuser/prosecutor to prove the allegation.

The defense does work to prove beyond doubt that the accused could not possibly have done what he's accused of, but even if they do absolutely nothing, if the other side cannot prove their claim, then the accused man is considered innocent.

So the onus here is on Kangana to prove her claims. HR doesn't have to lift a little finger, legally speaking. For his reputation or for proactive defense, he might. But unless she can prove it, in the eyes of the law, he's innocent.

AND the law says it has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt.
