#Raid is registering growth of approx 35% today (Second Saturday) compared to its second friday. Saturday collection can hit 5 crs if night shows holds well.

Box Office: Ajay Devgn's Raid holds well on second Friday, set to go past his Drishyam lifetime in 10 days

Raid held reasonably well on its second Friday as Rs. 3.55 crore came in. Fall when compared to Thursday [Rs. 4.66 crore] is on expected lines and the film is now set to show growth today and tomorrow. Friday collections have ensured that the Ajay Devgn starrer would now reach the Rs. 90 crore mark for sure and then post that it would be interesting to see how much further does it stretch post the release of Baaghi 2.

What is also noticeable is the fact that even on its second Friday the film has actually collected better than the first Friday of Hichki [Rs. 3.30 crore]. This sets up the stage well for the race between the two films and once the weekend is through, one waits to see whether they stay on to be neck to beck or one edge past the other by a distance.

As of now, Raid stands at Rs. 66.60 crore and by tomorrow evening it should come close to the Rs. 78 crore mark. That would take it past the lifetime total of last Ajay Devgn film which was in a realistic drama space, Drishyam [Rs. 77 crore].

So came back after watching RAID...and what a movie...take a bow Ajay Devgan...one more time you prove that you are the best one when it comes to these kinds of intense roles..⭐️...AD stole the show...his eyes did half the story telling...such an underrated actor he is...

Saurabh Shukhla is such a powerhouse of acting...His and AD's scenes were a treat to watch...Illeana did her role OK...I mean this movie was all about AD and SS so there was not really much for her to do...but she looked very earthy and pretty..

The dialogues were so good ...most of the times the audience kept laughing despite it being such a serious subject..

The supporting cast was all very good...especially Amma ji..loved her😆

And then LUCKNOW.❤️..my city...so beautiful

This movie could have totally been boring if not dealt with properly but instead it was fast moving, engaging and hilarious at times...amazing amazing movie...gives an idea about how these government offices work..the kind of pressure an honest officer faces...what their families go through...all depicted in a way that hits you hard without being preachy..

Loved this movie...it needs to be watched and AD needs to do more of these kinds of hard hitting movies..

SPOILER...

The last scene where Ajay is sitting in that room and the crowd is trying to break the door down...and he knows that he is about to be killed by the mob, and he takes out his wallet and looks at the pic of his wife...at that moment the pain, the misery, the helplessness , the frustration and the fear...so many emotions were visible on his face and his eyes...it takes a powerful actor to show so many emotions without any dialogues...not too many actors can emote like that...that 2 minute scene is the highlight of the movie and Ajay deserves to win the Natl award just for that scene alone...👏👏
