Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz's Raid which released last Friday is earning good numbers at the box office. This marks the second outing for the duo after last year's Baadshaho.
The film opened on a decent note with a collection of 10.04 crores. The film had a total of 41.01 over the 1st weekend. This Ajay Devgn film earned 6.26 crores on Monday, 5.76 crores on Tuesday and 5.36 crores on Wednesday. Raid till now has a staggering earning of 58.39 crores at the box office.
Ajay Devgn's Raid Continues Its Victorious Pace At The Box Office!The film has already crossed the USD $ 1.8 million (11.74 crores) at the overseas market taking the worldwide collection to 86.47 crores. Raid has acquired the 4th position in Ileana D'Cruz's list of highest grossing films of all time. The film is all set to cross Baadshaho's lifetime collection of approx 78 crores.

Rani Mukerji will be returning to the silver screen after Mardaani which had a decent run at the ticket window.
Raid, based on a true story about money laundering, released on Friday. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the film also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Saurabh Shukla. Apart from this, Ajay Devgn will soon begin shooting for Luv Ranjan's rom-com which also stars Tabu in a lead role.

The film added Rs 5.36 Crore to its kitty on Wednesday and reached this huge total. Yesterday, Raid crossed Rs 50 Crore mark as it finished day 5 with a collection of Rs 53.03 Crore. . The striking part about the collections of Raid is that the film has only seen an upward trend its collections over the week. In fact, its Day 4 collection was better than that of Kartik Aaryan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Akshay Kumar's Padman. The film had collected Rs 47.27 crore which was better than Padman and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety whose collections stood at Rs 45.92 crore and Rs 31.74 crore at the end of their fourth day respectively. With the weekend collection of Rs 41.01 crore, Raid has also become the second highest weekend opener, toppling Akshay Kumar's PadMan.
Raid, is based on the true story of IT raid which took place in Lucknow in the 80's. Ajay Devgn plays the character of honest officer Amay Pattniak who has been transferred 49 times in the last 7 years because of his honest and virtuous deeds. Apart from Devgn, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D'Cruz. Raid is all set to clash with Rani Mukerji's comeback movie "Hichki this week. Rani's movie is releasing tomorrow but it won't have any affect on RAID but it may possibly gain a low opening. With all due respect, Rani is an excellent actress but she doesn't have the star power for this so the film will rely on its content. I've got nothing against her film as she good in trailer and concept of the film should be good.
RAID is miles ahead at 58cr and more likely it will gain a Hit by next week.
