If they have the WILLPOWER to cut all carbs, they definitely have the willpower and intelligence to cut extra oil from their normal diet.

As for Kareena face, Pls look around and see your environment, if there is someone of 37 who is exercising and losing double chin of those proportions she had before and after pregnancy, and has tight skin all over by mere exercising and Diet' in a year? Can you yourself do it? I've seen people get double chin in their late 20s and they can't get rid of it.

So Kareenas newly found tightened face when she came from Switzerland is done by exercising to glory for two weeks inSwitzerland. With baby in tow. She hasn't done lipo and done half a dozen face lifts? Her arms and legs cant get thinner without cutting into muscle and bone. Those are how her arms and legs are at their thinnest. They are still chunky because that's her body type. Aishwaryas present tight face of 40 something which is smaller and tighter than when she was 25 is due to workout and diet?

So Katrina has done Botox and surgery and Kareena hasn't?

Really?

you've really got an old school way of thinking. its like, if you can't do it or agree with it, no one else can. Please take a seat.

My carb levels are down to about 50g per day so technically I am doing it.
I eat a moderate amount of fat (olive oil, avocado oil, some cheese) and a moderate amount of meat.
I do not deprive myself. If i want a sandwich, i make one using protein bread (10g carb per piece) and for mayo i use avocado mayo. I use ranch dressing as well sometimes, 1g carb per TBS. Its not impossible. It is if that's what you've decided.

Do you know what a face looks like after getting a facelift? Sometimes, i wonder where you people live to be throwing around such terms so casually. A face lift changes your face drastically. After 'many' facelifts, she would look like the cat woman, if she were getting as many as you claim. And for gods sake, she isnt 60. she's only 36 or 37. That's hardly a time to be getting facelifts. Botox, maybe. Facelifts, no.

And those that get botox, its very obvious. Look no further than Katrina Kaif with the perpetual bloated face, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra(her lips), and Saif (when he gets it, its very obvious) and Amir. you cant escape the botox bloat.

Even they have adjusted to 25% carbs after much criticism. Carbs turn into sugar. whole grains are complex carbs - but even they turn into sugar. What are other benefits are there to carbs? carbs is like fodder. I know this is very difficult to process because as a desi, we are so used to eating rice, daal and roti. its a staple of our diet and we are incomplete without it. i get that, trust me, its a constant struggle.

losing weight is a bit more complex than watching calories. Sure, in the beginning you will lose weight by restricting your caloric intake, but 6 months later, that's not gonna cut it. You will have to make changes to what you eat. Protein is by far the most important macronutrient to consume when attempting to loose weight followed by a MODERATE amount of fat.

Whats so wrong with eating 4oz of protein + a large healthy green salad? Dont judge it as 'not enough' if you haven't tried it. Its very HEALTHY and fulfilling. you've got the carbs you need from the vegetables in the salad and you've got the protein and fat from the dressing (assuming its a healthy fat) and meat.

also, you cannot remove all carbs because carbs are in more or less everything. you can reduce the amount you consume by eliminating things like bread, rice and lentils. If you must eat bread, try almond flour bread. Has half the amount of carbs as regular bread.

Forgot to mention, I've been doing that 50-30-20 ratio for the past year, combined that with working out for an 1 hr a day with high-intensity-interval-training, weight lifting, and pilates. And it's worked out great for me...maybe I'm just an anomaly

Right, reduce the amount of bread...therefore reducing the amount of calories😆

Could you please tell where the recommendations have changed... Genuinely curious... I'm searching everywhere right now - from the USA/UK reccs to mfp, everyone reccs 50% carbs... Sometimes it even goes up to 60% for children and athletes... Could you pls point out the source, I'm really interested in nutrition and would like to keep updated if anything has changed..

It is lipo plain and simple. She doesn't need to go out to get slim. Her face has gone thru the most extensive plastic surgery one can imagine, and if she can get her face done, she can get her body cut up. Then she posts photos in a gym and says it's 'workout'. Lol!

I've tried literally everything. I was on a keto diet for 3 months eating only eggs, (6 egss at one sitting with some veggies-sample meal plan) livers, some veggies, coconut oil and yogurt. I lost weight from the third day itself but after that hit a plateau even with exercising and hair started losing its sheen. Not what you'd expect from high protein, right?
After when I figured I could gradually start a more normal diet, I slowly added back some carbs and within a month gained more weight than I had first started with.

Then I tried WAP, paleo, primal, mediterranean at different times-yes, I lived on raw milk and raw meat and raw livers, kidneys etc too. So I've tried literally everything under then sun alongwith some kind of exercise always. Then I figured that raw cave man wala diet is for albinos and went the traditional Indian way-dal, chawal etc...cajoled, forced my mum to cook everything in coconut oil...organics veggies and free range eggs only...goat meat in India is anyway organic and free range...And felt a lot better for it...hair, skin everything.
Still tried all those youtube fads-pink green, purple tea, rainbow tea,...chia seeds,,,moringa drink...
So now I try to listen to my body and eat mindfully-if I feel like having 4 bread slices, I have...Btw I got reiki and this too works for me I reckon. Not drastic but gradual.

Brain works exclusively on glucose and body prefers getting its glucose from its glycogen stores aka the carbs we eat broken down into sugars and stored in cells. The keto pathway where the body breaks down fat as an exclusive energy generation mechanism is not healthy for the body in the long run-excess ketone bodies lead to acidosis and strain on kidneys.

Yes and liposuction helped her build up the core strength to do a plank like that with her trainer? Nonsense 😆

Pls don't use nonsense arguments. Someone who is going to gym every now n then for years and years can't do that pose? A kid of six can do it! Core, my foot. She can't even do action movies like Pee Cee and Kat and asks directors not to give her action scenes.

Come on. Even Aishwarya lost weight after ballooning during pregnancy and after. Look at her now. So slim. Do you see her announcing it? Do you see her releasing pictures of doing gym? Or strutting around showing off? Kareena is so starved for attention.

Tell me Kapoor lost all the extra skin around her chin and face too by gym. She is so dishonest. If you lost weight fine. If you're going to gym to maintain what you lost good. Why publicize? If she lost weight naturally all her gym people will announce it and her gym and instructor will be flooded by people. There will be no need for her to pose on a plank pose or whatever.

Anyway I suspect the attention Mira is getting from paps these days is fueling up her desire to look thinner than even Mira. She forgets it's telling on her face which is looking tired and like a 30 something who has done stuff to look younger.

And yes, someone is so angry at my comments they're tampering with my computer connection. Unfortunately, they can do squat

So you attribute her strength to the workouts but not her weight loss? Like going to the gym daily for the past 1 year doing Pilates with a personal trainer and coupled with a diet cannot possibly cause weight loss, but yes her strength is due to her workouts coz you don't have any conspiracy theory for that yet? You will come up with every and any excuse to bring her down. So much so that using a nobody like Mira who's claim to fame is getting married to a famous actor as a comparison to an artist of 18 years who worked and created her own identity independent of her husband.
And seeing as you are the only member making all these negative assumptions about her weight loss in this entire thread, I'll call you the outlier. The majority has spoken. I rest my case 😆

Have noticed that whenever we get too heated in online discussions or overly critical about strangers, it creates negative atmosphere and invites spirits inside. This spirit then starts to tamper with internet connections to increase our frustration 😕
