Padman is small movie and hype is way to less compared to Padmavat. Also they announced the release date much before. Won't matter too much if they change the date or not

both movies look like they will flop

Since Akshay announced the movie first one can't really ask him to move the dates but I completely understand that SLB has got no other choice.Its just better to release Padma as soon as possoble before any other problem crops up.
If we talk about clash I find it silly for two big budget films of big movie stars to have the same dates.It affects the lifetime collection of both films even if both goes on to be a hit.The audience gets didvided and not everyone watches both the films which they might have if there was not a clash.But alas the ego of our superstars is much bigger.They would rather suffer a bit of loss than back down as they fear it won't make them seem superior.
It was only sensible for Aiyaari to shift its dates by two weeks.They know they are a small film when compared to other group and only a certain sector of audience will take the pain of going to theatres to watch it.
Im sure both Padman and Padmavat will be a hit but I just feel that Padmavati will do a better business.

What are u talking about? Khul k bolo?? People arent talking about Padman as much as Padmavaat... Twinkle can promote it on social media as much as she wants but in reality this looks like weakest Akki film ...
