I cannot believe how what SRK said turned into a thing. I watched the interview and saw nothing wrong or unpatriotic with his statements. People need to watch interviews in their entirety before jumping to conclusions.

What I din't understand is why dint Viacom and SLB release the film in April instead? They not only disrupted the entire release calendar of end of Jan but subsequently of Feb and march too.

Biggest sufferer is Aiyyari. They have already run into loses. All their publicity material , promos were designed for 26th Jan but now they had to rearrange everything. If Padman moved then even they would have had to face losses.

akshay doesnt need to he is the first one to book the date , he has the full right to release his movie ,also akshay is on a roll these days pretty sure even if you ask him he would not
