Every year our actresses, who appear on the
red carpet of Cannes Film Festival, grab
headlines for their sartorial sense. Last year
Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and
Deepika Padukone made their presence felt
at the festival. Recently, Deepika who
appeared on the Colors Infinity show BFFs
with Vogue, was asked by Neha Dhupia
whose fashion sense she liked the best
Sonam or Ash. It was part of a segment
called say or strip', says a source. The
actress chose to answer and without
batting an eyelid, picked Sonam over Ash!
She said, "I liked Sonam's look better than
that of Aishwarya.
For the uninitiated, there has been a cold
war going on between the two actresses
who made their Bollywood debuts the same
year. Sonam has in the past, even taken a
fashion dig at Deepika. On Koffee With
Karan, when she was asked what sartorial
advice would she like to give to Deepika, the
Veere Di Wedding actress promptly said,
"Create your own style. Well, Sonam will be
flattered to know that the Padmavat actress
likes her fashion sense!
But when Deepika was asked whose brand
she prefers Sonam's Rheson or Anushka
Sharma's Nush she chose the latter's
saying, "Though both are good, I prefer
Nush as it is more my style. Now, that's
quite an endorsement for Anushka!
