With karishma the rumours are that she was an escort... Totally different ball game...

. I think the star kids are protected from this shit but the outsiders are completely at the mercy of the big and powerful... Karishma went through it bec essentially her family disowned her and her mom is super ambitious

CT: Ghai is too well-known for this. Manisha too did it all, I think when it became too much & he was extremely vile & unbearable, she made it public. And the Karisma rumours have always been about being a Middle East escort which would be unacceptable to them. Story goes Subroto Roy or sown own revealed this to them & that's when they realised. Karisma had been disowned by her illustrious Kapoor family & Babita anyway was disliked there & Babita has always been SUPER ambitious in every way. Career & marriage.

Dont know how true this is...but had read in an interview about their first meet...Apparently she was dancing with some guy in a party and Ghai asked the guy, who is the beautiful woman swaying in his arms, and Mahima replied saying, If he (Ghai) wants she can sway in his arms too.

I dont think even Subhash had the galls to sleep or approach established actresses. He only preyed on newcomers. So it is out of the question that Sri Devi, Ash or Kareena had to compromise in oder to get his movies.
