I think it is a rather presumptuous statement to make that Hritik will always reamain a dad made star. We have a D2 to prove that wrong and wait for Jodha Akbar. If you are going purely by history then all the Khans singulalry and put together have more strings of flops than Hritik, Abhshek and John singularly or put together.
Obviously it is purely your opnion that NOBODY can ever replace the Khans, a sentiment and opinin not shared by all. In my view the more the better - because competition instigates better perforamnce and better quality of cinema rather than relegating numero uno position to an actor and star for donkeys years despite some of their mediocre performances. Hritk is Numero Uno for the year 2006 along with perhaps Aamir but even I will not be so dog headed to assume and presume that he will continue to command that numero uno position forever. Nobody is unassailable at the end of the day. Cinema like any other proffession will always welcome new talent and breed good actors.
And by the way your stat about Koyla is wrong. It is a FLOP. If u go thru Box office India and run through their records it does not even feature as an average. For proof you can go through the official SRK website (pro - SRK) which gives the track record of all fims. Koyla features as a FLOP.

may be i got the info. wrong, thanx for clearing that
On the website u mentioned above, i got this
"
Does he deny his overseas clout? "I can't deny the fact that my overseas market of Hindi films are good. It is an asset to my stardom. People keep blaming me for doing the same kind of films and roles, but that is what people want to see. I am not making any concerted effort. Films like Devdas, Chalte Chalte, K3G, Dil Se and Koyla did very well abroad. Koyla released at the time when the overseas market was reopening up. Dil Se was a huge hit and Asoka did pretty well. I do have a good market but that is the market of the Asian films. For global market however there are people like Vivek, Aishwarya and films like Bride and Prejudice to take that step forward. Now I hear even Liz Hurley is doing a Bollywood film." It is said that Kal Ho Naa Ho sums up Shah Rukh Khan's philosophy in real life. How far is the observation true? "One can't expect tailor-made situations for each one of us. Having said that, I am not a fatalist. But yes, one has to make the most of what life gives you," says Shah Rukh Khan breaking into smiles as he turns to give attention to Aryan and Suhana. its the very last para. So this means that Koyla did well (may be not a hit) but it did do well, and we are talking about whole world int his topic, arent we?
Btw, looks like you got it wrong. I said that they can or anyone else can dethrone khans only when no label is attached to them. I m NOT For or Against Khans/new Gen.
looking at things from both sides.😊
