Sometimes audience doesn't want hardcore melodrama or moralistic movies...Also RS's last 3 portrayals were so different from each other, that that curiosity factor will be there to see what he serves next...

baaghi 2 was hardcore action and simmba also has alot of action in it aswell, so yeh the genre is still popular and has its audience, this is the first time ranveer is doing a film like this

Even Aamir's next TOH, Akshay's next Houseful 4, SRK's next Zero, are masala entertainers. Even Akki and Aamir do masala entertainers from time to time. There is no harm in RS doing the same.

and varun even did Main tera hero, judwa 2 and dishoom, and yeh akshay has housefull 4 and even TOH has action and comedy in it, most of tigers movies are masala action films, so ranveer is trying it aswell, he is working really hard so hope it all goes well

UPDATE: #Simmba shooting wrap up on 10th November 2018. The theatrical trailer will be launched digitally around 35 days before the film release i.e. between 24 and 28th November. Starring @RanveerOfficial and #SaraAliKhan, the movie releases on 28th December 2018
