Deepika Padukone is currently riding high on success as the actor completed 10 years in the industry just recently. Even as her upcoming film Padmavati continues to be in news, Deepika has remained strong headed raising her concern on the state of freedom of expression in our country.
During an interview to a magazine, when Deepika was asked about the lowest point in her life, she said, "A broken relationship and depression. Those were the two very low points of my life."
How did she deal with it? Deepika Padukone said, "Well, time and a lot of work on myself helped me overcome it. It came with an amazing support system, my friends and family. My friends and family keep me grounded. They keep me rooted. They anchor me. Also, today my work is everything. My work is me. I have created it. I am responsible for my success and failure. No one else can take that away from me. That's on what I have focussed all my energies and efforts. It's my baby."
In an interview with a leading magazine, Deepika was asked when does she plan to take her relationship to the next level (hinting to marriage)? To which she said, "Hmmm...and what would the next level be? It's not obvious. I don't know if marriage per se... Because I believe every relationship has its natural progression. I'm discovering that myself."
Is she planning to settle down in 2018? "I can't put a year to it. Honestly, I've never been able to do anything that is time bound. I believe relationships have their way of unfolding. As far as my equation with him is concerned, I am sure that will unfold in its own manner. I can't wait to be a homemaker. Because from the time I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be that. I've always wanted to start a family," said Deepika.

there she goes again!! That's what she has sold all these 10 years... And by the way she had many broken relationships why does she want to give the impression that she only dated Ranbir in her life when she actually dumped a long list! 🤔

If someone on national television threatened to kill me, that would have been a point in my life,
That my biggest film got such bad publicity

I never understand anything she says about depression.

Depression is not sadness that you just "get over." Depression is a disease that always stays with you and that requires continuous medication. There are times that are better and times that are worse but it's a lifelong thing.

Not really...it all depends on how the person is depressed...there are different levels of depression and everyone's experience with it is different...but yes, you do feel sad like there's a cloud over your head or you are caged...
