you find faults in a movie..

you feel offended over something

don't watch it..as simple

funny that for pride of India..these people only become active when movies are at stake..be it movie starring pak artists or now this..

but where are they when real issues affecting actual pride of the country are there..when women are raped every other hour..when nirbhaya was brutally tortured and raped..

wish the death of those murderers or so many of these indulging in such brutal crimes are wished upon with same intensity..but oh well..these emotions are only evoked over movies i guess..

This is not publicity. Many people may not go to theatre to watch this film out of fear that the protestors will harass them. It is only negatively affecting the movie's team. Toh movie ka toh kuch bhi faayda nahi hoga, ulta nuksaan hoga.

there are two types of thoughts about this

one thought says...

" What heritage you talk about where 70% India was in Ghulami from Kings, mughals, British...

and one thought says

Why do I feel like some people here so want the movie to fail b/c of their certain dislikes for some actors that are in this movie?they cannot fathom it might be a hit.

Yeh to hona hi tha...this is all the doing of the Rajput Sabha. Tons of other random groups will start protesting now.

They did this same thing in the 90's for JP Dutta's Kshatriya. The biggest spectacle of its time but the Rajputs didn't like how they were being portrayed and suddenly tens of other groups including Animal activists were on board because of some scenes related to horses and cows, Hindu samaj because of gau mata ki Bali and tons of others. The film didn't get released in Rajasthan & MP till 2 weeks after release and didn't get a proper release in Delhi, Himachal and UP. The result was, the most expensive movie of that time, crashed and burned.

The point is SLB better satisfy these guys before release. Bollywood has managed to reason with the Sikhs, the Gujjus and other groups before but you can't reason with the Rajput Sabha. They really go all out. No empty threats here. Good luck to Team Padmavati
