From what I remember initially when sets were attacked and SLB slapped entore industry had come out in support on twitter. Now nobody has watched the movie so can't expect anybody to come and support and say there is no scene.

For a long time now, many stories about Ranveer Singh romancing Deepika Padukone in "PAdmavati" have been making rounds.

All this while, the director of the film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had maintained silence but now he has come out in public and rubbished all the rumours and reports of a romantic dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and the invader Allauddin Khilji in the film!

"There is no interaction whatsoever between the characters played by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh," Bhansali said.

A video recording by Bhansali declaring zero interaction between Rani Padmavti and Khilji is expected to be put out.

A source close to Bhansali said: "We've been going hoarse saying there is absolutely no dream sequence featuring Deepika and Ranveer. They haven't shot together in 'Padmavati' for a single day. We don't know who started this rumour of the two being together.

"It has caused monstrous mischief for the project and created havoc with Mr Bhansali's peace of mind."

i think slb is playing dumb, i think one of the problem with the people in rajasthan is they don't want the glorification of their invader, the villain being portrayed as the main subject of the film. hopefully the movie for the slb's sake and padmavati box-office sake is more than all khilji. rajasthan is a big bo chunk of indian movie gross. and that's not the only state where the hardliners may create a problem. wrong to politicize entertainment but unfortunately slb likes to stroke the fire for publicity. he could have kept everything quite about the movie, none knew much about ramleela

when the actors and their movies were harassed by these same goons...then who came out...did SLB come out at that time...I don't remember...this is the thing...everyone thinks that why should I say anything...its not my concern...i had said this 2 years back...everyone is turning a blind eye...it will come to bite u back...and it happens..and is going to happen again and again.

what slb and his team has done is to allow match stick fire turned into wild fire, its only going to harm them more. they were silent and thought its getting free promotion but it's going to back fire since its too late for clarification.
