The politicization of a movie is absolutely loathsome. Diversion and making example of a film to deflect from the REAL issues is shameful. People happily playing along is even more sad.

Do people not know the meaning of a movie anymore?

When movie stars speak on an issue they are dismissed for being publicity hungry but movies are taken so seriously that it becomes a national issue.

Wouldn't make any difference even by giving them a sword, they would eventually be overpowered, simply due to the biological fact that men are physically more stronger than women. Even if you manage to kill some of them, it would just be a matter of time before you are captured, and then spend the rest of your life as a sex slave. You would have to hope that you are killed before that happens, but even then, their bodies would be disfigured and humiliated.

They did the best they could in the dire circumstances they found themselves in.
