Akshay Kumar doesn't get enough credit on this forum. He was phenomenal in the 00's with a slew of comedy hits from SIK, Welcome, Housefull, Bhool Bhulaiya, Phir Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, MSK and others to romance/thrillers like Namasteu London, Andaaz, Ajnabee, Aitraaz. He was the #2 behind SRK. But you can make a case for Hrithik. Who had his dads Films +Dhoom 3 but little else. Just that his surname is Kumar or Bhatia if you prefer, not Khan.

Sunny Deol was the undisputed superstar of the 90's. SRK was his primary challenger. Anybody denying that doesn't know what they're talking about. BOI And other sites have already answered that question. Just giving a few more hits doesn't make Varun Dhawan an Aamir Khan.

Salman Khan leads in every category highest net collections, success ratio, hit ratio and the best average per film. He also has the highest grosser and the most watched film of the 90s in Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.

Salman and Shah Rukh are the only two actors to average more than 10 crore plus per film.

and as I explained in another post, there was NO piggybacking EVER in salman's ENTIRE career, he made that comment in just fun as per his sense of humor...

everyone who has the knowledge about bollywood, knows well that after mid 80's sunjay dutt's career was not going anywhere, he was trying to get foot again in bollywood and only in 1991 with SAAJAN and SADAK tWo back to back hits he regainED his lost stardom, its a very well known fact for all bollywood fans.

SO basically we can say SUNJAY CAN BE piggybacking on SALMAN as salman was FRESH from one ATBB maine pyar kiya in 1989 and a HIT baaghi in 1990 (followed by a super hit sanam bewafa in 1991..all solo leads) he had NO need to piggyback on sunjay dutt as he was a NEW STAR that time while sunjay was struggling to hold a foot again after a series of flops.

and as far as KARAN ARJUN is concerned , as the title suggests both salman and srk were in title roles.

As far as Jeet is concerned, salman was AGAIN fresh from HAHK and karan arjun' successes in 1996, so he had no need to piggyback at sunny with whom he did just one movie , both had equal roles as well in Jeet too..

But I am sure salman's careless humor is a FOOD nowadays for his haters and naysayers.

Nothing new on this forum, they know it very well, but chose to do that stupid piggybacking jaap on PURPOSE. 😉😆
