What about ajay?? 1990 se aaj tak? He was more successful than akshay since 1990 with superb performances in movies like Gangajal,Zakham,omkara,company and the legend of Bhagat Singh and he won two national awards but still he is not in your list now tell me any single movie of akshay in 1990 and in 2000 jo ajay ki in me se kissi movie ke level ki ho😃 so don't agree with your list.

and as I explained in another post, there was NO piggybacking EVER in salman's ENTIRE career, he made that comment in just fun as per his sense of humor...

everyone who has the knowledge about bollywood, knows well that after mid 80's sunjay dutt's career was not going anywhere, he was trying to get foot again in bollywood and only in 1991 with SAAJAN and SADAK tWo back to back hits he regainED his lost stardom, its a very well known fact for all bollywood fans.

SO basically we can say SUNJAY CAN BE piggybacking on SALMAN as salman was FRESH from one ATBB maine pyar kiya in 1989 and a HIT baaghi in 1990 (followed by a super hit sanam bewafa in 1991..all solo leads) he had NO need to piggyback on sunjay dutt as he was a NEW STAR that time while sunjay was struggling to hold a foot again after a series of flops.

and as far as KARAN ARJUN is concerned , as the title suggests both salman and srk were in title roles.

As far as Jeet is concerned, salman was AGAIN fresh from HAHK and karan arjun' successes in 1996, so he had no need to piggyback at sunny with whom he did just one movie , both had equal roles as well in Jeet too..

But I am sure salman's careless humor is a FOOD nowadays for his haters and naysayers.
Nothing new on this forum, they know it very well, but chose to do that stupid piggybacking jaap on PURPOSE. 😉😆
(we all should get use to it now).

I fail to understand your pattern of labeling everyone who doesn't agree with you a 'hater'.

I don't dislike Salman, in fact I like him. I've said it before from 1999-2005, he was the second biggest superstar behind SRK, even though he didn't get a lot of success in that time period, his films like Tere Naam, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya and even the delayed Garv had bumper openings comparable to SRK's. But in the 90's he was squarely behind Sunny Deol & SRK.

Infect if we come to think of it, SRK was the one who PIGGYBACKED that too ALOT at start and even mid of his career at stars who were bigger then him at that time, and even played SECOND FIDDLE to few who were bigger stars then him at that time.

DEEWANA: Piggyback on rishi kapoor

DIL AASHNA HAI : Piggyback on Dharmendra, Jeetendar and that time's superstar Divya bharti.

KING UNCLE: Piggyback on Jackie shroff who wasa bigger star then him at that time.

DARR: Piggybacked at Sunny deol.

CHAMATKAAR: Piggyback on Naseer ud din shah, biggr styar then him that time.

RAJU BANN GAYA GENTELMAN: Piggyback on Nana patekar.

TRIMURTI : Piggyback on both ANIL KAPOOR AND JACKIE SHROFF, bigger stars then him that time.

ALL COSTARS of him in the above stated list were more popular then him at that point of time, and he was starred in SO MANY TWO HERO' FILMS.

SRK was indeed SECOND FIDDLE to JACKIE in KING UNCLE and even to divya bharti and dharmendra/jeetendra in DIL AASHNA HAI and also to rishi kapoor in DEEWANA.

So dear haters, NOT salman, but pyara srk indeed played SECOND FIDDLE to few actors and piggyback on so many actors for like first 5-6 initial years of his career.

THATS THE FACT FOR YOU.
