collaborated on a film, they have given box
office successes and magical love stories.
Although they have been collaborating as
co-producers, it's been a while since they
did a film together just as an actor- director.
The last full-fledged film they did was My
Name is Khan in 2010. SRK also had a
special appearance in Karan's last directorial
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016.
At the press conference for his upcoming
co-production Ittefaq on Monday, Shah
Rukh Khan was asked when can the fans
expect them to collaborate on a film again.
To this, SRK responded, "We discuss a lot of
stories and ideas but we have not held on
to anything as yet.
Talking about this production venture,
Karan Johar also added, "Shah Rukh Khan
and I are not only best friends and families,
we are collaborators too.
Then, SRK also addressed the fallout
rumours with Karan Johar and cleared the
air by saying, "I have never had a problem
with Karan Johar. Will always love him. SRK
further added, "I have seen several shades
of love with Karan from friends to brothers
to some another level.
On the work front, Karan Johar's Dharma
Production along with Shah Rukh Khan's
Red Chillies Entertainment and BR Chopra's
BR Films has collaborated as co-producers
on Ittefaq. The film starring Sonakshi Sinha,
Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna is set to
release on November 3.
