we give such importance to beautiful faces...somebody is referred to as a superhuman or goddess because she has a near perfect face...such a struggle for the ones with not so beautiful faces,specially the women...beauty is such a trivial quality.

^^She loses her appeal without her signature green eyes IMO. Definitely beautiful but not THE most beautiful woman. I find Lisa Haydon, Emeraude Toubia, Salma Hayek etc. much better looking.

Aishwarya wore brown/black contacts in several films.. Taal, Jodhaa Akbar, Guru, Iruvar, to name a few.. she still looked just as gorgeous in those films as well.

If you artificially change someone's skin tone and eye colour to see how they look, the result is always going to be weird. It's like imagining Lisa Haydon to be white, doesn't she lose her appeal too then?

Smoldy: She wore black contact lenses in Taal & JA & those 2 are her 2 films where she's voted to be the most ethereal & beautiful, she's ever looked onscreen. ESP JA.

She's extremely tanned in many pics too offscreen like when she returned from Bora Bora after her honeymoon.. Yet her face is as breathtaking as ever. With Ash, these variables don't matter. Her face still is as mindblowing as EVER.

I clearly don't understand this "if she was not fair",and "if she don't have green eyes" thing...the key point here is She has it n that's her plus which makes her unique

If it goes on then I can say Deepika wouldn't be this much beautiful if she didn't have that gorgeous smile n same goes with every person.

Take away the best feature from a person then they won't be same...I dnt understand the logic here.

And the 2nd set of comments like "Her features are not that great..I have seen many people with same features but less fair n they were not beautiful"

I would say if u select the best eyes,nose,lips,eyebrows etc and make a face,there is no guarantee that end result will be beautiful.. because beauty is not just the algebraic sum of the features..it's a more complicated relation.

PS: I can understand people saying we don't find her beautiful because beauty is subjective..but the above mentioned reasonings amused me..and eng being my 2nd language,its difficult for me to put forward what's in my mind..I hope I made some sense.
