Q What is your upcoming film Guru all about?
Guru is the story of Gurukant Desai who is the protagonist of the film. It is the life story of this one character from the age of 15 till the end of his life.

Q Did you enjoy working with director Mani Ratnam?
This is my second film with Madras Talkies. I have worked with them before in Yuva and I am very close to them. Mani is somebody I hold very dear to me. I am glad we worked in another film together. The friendship continued after Yuva, but my willingness to work with him was always there.

Q What do you think about the music of the film?
What I like about Guru is that it's not just one song that will stand out but the entire sound track is great. They are all special as they have the unique sound of Mani Ratnam and A.R. Rahman together. The way we shot them was great too. Be it the bhang song which we call the yamo yamo song, mayya mayya which we shot in an old Byzantine church in Turkey, Aishwarya's introduction track and the romantic songs are all unique.

Q What would you consider your toughest scene in the film?
It's been a roller coaster ride throughout the making of this film. (Sampurn)
