Rasgulla: Also the actual love of his life, lol. We don't even know if Jodha was real or not!! I any day prefer SLB to Gowariker, but when they just completely exclude the key players in a biopic it's just 😆 Gowariker though did clarify & state that he was ONLY concentrating on their love story so everybody else would've be excluded so as not to offend our modern sensibilities, I suppose 😆 , but I doubt if SLB will. He just wished away such characters I think. 😆 Padma stalked Baaji all the way to his palace & across princely states & that is supposed to be a 'great love story'! What injustice because their love was good, was real. The first time a Marathi Peshwa broke all tradition & took on a second wife, that too a beautiful, very talented half-Hindu royalty, half -Persian Muslim concubine offspring.. And then made her DANCE in front of a stranger!!!! Oh my Lord. How she would've spun in her grave. That's absolutely unthinkable. They would rather kill themself than dance. Dance was seen as an extremely lowly form of entertainment, best suited to courtesans. Not beautiful upper-class women. 🥱
