She was intensely ambitous, power-loving & extremely cunning, highly intelligent, Beth articulate & very beautiful! Only her niece Arjumand Bano (future Mumtaz Mahal) outranked her in beauty. I find their love story so much more intriguing than SJ & MM's. Noor became Empress of Hindustan, and an immensely powerful lady, she ruled Hindustan for nearly 15 years, from the age of 32!!! An age, when women were seen as very old & meant to be 'discarded'. It's extremely fascinating to me.
