Also I dont get how both the parties let angrez off the hook so easily😆😆

The last line - classic example of the 3rd party monkey.

Brits are now shouting , "immigrants are deforming our culture"
What about their invasion and colonizing of half the world? Didn't they impose their culture on us! Hypocrites!

FB: Supposedly he was but since we don't know whether Jodha with these details ever was a fully blooded human, we can't say for sure. New historical rumours say "Jodha" was actually a Portugese lady who Akbar married & both were in love. She was beautiful etc. She was Marium-Uz-Zamani & somehow was converted into this lady called Jodha. Am sure though that Jehangir wasn't full Mughal, lol. Neither was Shah-Jahan, yes! He was half-Hindu, half-Rajput actually. I wonder if his mother was around when he reinstated the Jaziya tax. It would've hurt her deeply. As it should.

I mean let off the hook as in not evil.. they are always portrayed as dumb bimbos😆

Rasgulla: Ha? Not at all! They're always depicted as incredibly cruel & cunning bas***ds. While all Indians & all religions are pristine & blameless. See I get all fired up when I hear my national anthem & get all teary-eyes but that's the magic of movies-- To play with your emotions! But there has to be a balance & none of these films have it.

Woah Portugese?? What about the temple on her name and sheeshmahal then?
If that is true, Jahangir had European blood too. So many mixed races.
Shahjahan perhaps was a beautiful man. 😆

^^He was also a pure aesthete & historians also say that it was built as a symbol of Mughal glory but that's the cynic in me loool.

FB: Ya apparently! Shah-Jahan was definitely a beautiful man! His portraits show that. It was only Akbar who was full Mughal, the rest were corrupted, lol. But vastly better looking than Akbar, but who cares, they weren't even a 20 patches on their father & grandfather. 😆

Padmavati is based on a poem written by Malik Mohammed.

So may be he presented khilji as a villain.

Modern historians have rejected this fictional story.

Khilji captured Chittor because he wanted it and not for padmavati.

Seedhi si baat kyun nahin bolte, it's not even about veracity of SLB movies, the beef is with DP and RS. Otherwise even a chimp can decipher BM/Padmavati are his fictional take.
You will never see outrage for his deviation from Devdas novel, Paro-Chandramukhi dancing away despite never even acquainting in the book version. Guess cos it Aish ;) and there's the sucking up to SRK fans to take care of.

^^DPRS in every bloody film of his since 2013 is so God-damn annoying!! Plus I find their "great" chemistry overhyped! Give me DPPC any day. Now THAT is chemistry. I loved their scenes in BM. Otherwise, it was a very average film.
