Megastarni like her don't need such parties to stay relevant.

She is well endowed to have her own party since there are multiple people living in her head. It is full of A listers.

I hope you know how RW had banned his movies in Gujarat. They even recently got him kicked out of endorsements like Snapdeal. They had issued calls to boycott Dangal too and AK had to add patriotism, Nationak Anthem etc to it to make it suitable for nationalistic fervour.

SRK is also lying quiet since Modi came to power. Better see how sets of Raees were attacked in Gujarat and how his films are not doing that well of late.

You cannot even draw contrast in behavior of Khans before 2014 and Khans now 😆

I don't go by gossip forums. I go by real life.

A nobody like Anupam Kher is FTII chairperson now and important panelist everywhere. Why? Just due to political links.

A flop filmmaker like Vivek Agnihotri is getting so many opportunities in public life just due to RW political links.

Chopras are neutral. Know how to please anyone in power.

Johar was made to pay for his leanings. Just see protests ADHM faced and how he was called anti national on national TV.

He was forced to cut scenes with Fawad and announce he will never cast Pakistani artistes in future.

Political links trump any Dawood etc anytime here.

That's why all celebs try to be in good books of politicians.

You talk of SRK? Well Mamta had made him ambassador of West Bengal few years ago. She doesn't call him at state events now. Just due to pressure of RW 😉

Political links are a reason why Nargis had a National Award named after her in past.

Again bringing the rw or lw BS into this totally unrelated topics, just to get the topic diverted. And how conveniently his achievements are discredited due to his political connections 😆 And akki started doing the so called patriotic movie before 2014 i guess, a good 2 or 3 years before, maybe he thought that doing these kinds of movies is a Good idea coz audience loved them and anyways, i hope he keeps doing such awesome movies. I don't care whatever his motives are, but if i find his movies good, i'll watch them. I won't watch movies like singh is bling though.

Fanaa was banned and at that time BJP was not in power nationally. No Aamir movie has been banned in Gujarat after that.

Lately, Aamir has clearly changed his strategy. He is also doing deshbhakti type movies. Dangal had that. He is lucky Dangal was the release after they got him thrown out from Snapdeal or else some normal movie would have tanked. This one had enough to stir up nationalist fervor with Indian gold medals and National anthem playing and all that.

He's not as big a celebrity/icon the way SRK is anyway. SRK gets called anti-national every few months by various BJP politicians and there are constant 2 hour debates on TV about how antinational he is especially by people like Arnab, the right wing messiah. It creates and shapes public opinion.

You are correct ...BW is RW controlled and producers and distributors will do losses just to please RW...it's not a business but a charitable organisation in service of RW

That's the excuse i have been hearing since the bjp govt came in. Nobody wants to accept that he started doing shitty movies. Govt does not pay people to watch movies. Political connections usually help bw stars to stay relevant but that's it. And this is the news to me! I haven't heard that dangal or raees got banned in gujarat??
