How could he do that before obtaining CBFC certification?

The 3 media people who were shown was done through a private screening which is permissible. But to show the sena before the CBFC wouldve been like submittng to them.. their ridiculous demands too wouldve even asked to scrap the Ghoomar song too!

"Like I've said, I'm 200% with the film and with my director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Given the time is sensitive, I've been asked to not say anything. Whatever official communication needs to be made you will recieve from the producers.

Thanks for posting. It is really sad. But he can't help it. Him playing Khilji makes the sena assume that the villain will be glorified. Also the sena even says there will be scenes between khilji and padmavati since RSDP date in real life!

apparently khilji never fought himself, he was always hiding behind others, so the very fact that in the trailer khilji is shown wrestling and winning , is a problem to them...the karni sena wants ranveer to play a wimpy scared man-child, so no matter what they will protest...

they have actually moved on from padmavati, they now have a problem with the portrayal of khilji, he cannot be shown as a warrior, he cannot be shown, fighting, he cannot be shown etc etc, he has to kiss maik kafur...trailer lacked all these, so they have a problem with it...

even they have realised that padmavati and khilji have no scenes together...thus they are not even commenting on it currently...

Really? I dont think so in fact scriptures from that time say that he was a great fighter.. in fact the scriptures have different interpretations about Ratan fighting.. some say it was another person who fought.

Sena even has a problem since RSDP are dating in real life. RIDICULOUS

They also have a problem with ghoomar song and the dancing. The media reports about ranveer's answer from today. people are reacting to it as if he is KHILJI..

I wish art was allowed to be expressed freely, it is an opinion of that particular film maker. There has been so many war movies with different perspectives and point of views, this is sad for cinema

Indeed very sad for cinema and for art lovers this will restrict the stories chosen by filmmakers in the future. saddest part is there is nothing objectionable in the film and yet these people want to ban it without even waiting to watch it.

Art should be seen and assessed for what it is.
