Yup, also that song from kaminey called "dhan te nan" where the lyrics of Shahid are "teli ka tel", they censored it later. Maybe sexism isn't important enough for the censor board to cut out. 😊

No one wants a Lunchbox from typical masala films but the least they can do is to not show sexism against women. They can be funny without reinforcing sexism. Some basic respect is needed.

If you want to cheery pick, then there is a problem in a lot of Bollywood movies in the way they depict women, and almost everyone has watched a movie where such comments are passed. This can't be resolved by the audience, but rather it is up to the directors and actors to request such comments be removed. Moral objections are easier to cite when one has made up their mind not to watch a movie.

I think it was not required, it looked crass. Could have done without it...

Comedy and Crass do have a very thin line and u never know when u go overboard. Movie was enjoyable otherwise.⭐️

I was reading somewhere when "sexy sexy log boley" song came out there was huge protest by women group and the song had to be changed to "baby, baby baby" Not sure if there was any protest for songs like "Na mumbai ki na dilliwalo ki, Pinky hai paisaey walo ki", "Chikni chameli pawa chada ki aayi" "palo ne neeche chupa ke rakha hai", all focuses on objectification of women. Some production house spent so much money in promoting their item (indirect reference used for women in bollywood) songs it becomes normal and acceptable. Worst part of such songs are how camera focuses on women's body, imagine role reversal and songs are made on them, and camera focus on men's body part from all angle and ... and then see how many r comfortable watching it during prime time on tv.
