Good that he's seeking help if he needs it. Why is it a big deal? The tone of this article is stigmatising psychiatric sessions I guess the various organisations working towards mental health awareness need to work even harder to bring the acceptability.

^^Completely true. I don't understand the hype around seeking help. THAT, shows better awareness & health to me than the 90% of Indians who claim they're "perfectly healthy" and live their entire lives in fear, depression & with horrible mental health!!!

Totally. Better than escaping into alcohol and drugs.

Indian men are taught to be strong from childhood. Men in tears is seen as weak, pathetic. Men tend to internally hold onto emotions, because they are strong, and inevitably have unhealthy coping mechanisms escaping through alcohol and drugs.
