I thought it was a good film. Its not as bad as the Critics made it out to seem 😕 I feel people have been unnecessarily harsh. I read in a lot of reviews taht the supporting characters were not fleshed out properly, I dont agree with that.

However at the same time...this film is not on the level of Queen or TWMR. That was on a different planet. Kangana's performance was good. But its does not outdo Queen or TWMR. As much as I love Kangana - this is not an award-worthy performance. IMO that still belongs to Sridevi for Mom.

Music of the film was not that great - needed better work!

Overall, not bad...there defiantly was someting missing in the film..i just cant put my finger on what exactly that may be. I'd rate a 7/10

15 crores is not that bad right as the buget was low ? Is it still flop or average ? :/

Heard that the makers had already recovered the costs from various avenues prior to release as it was made on a very controlled budget. Theatrical revenue was only considered profit. So internally, no one is losing sweat over the BO outcome. They're comfortable. 😆

by this logic most of the producers recover costs with satellite, music and tv rights etc.
for a movie to be declared hit it has to recover its budget and plus, which obviously simran failed to did. even on a "tight controlled budget"

lol kangana fans.. from declaring her highest paid actress to film barely making 14cr they are happy.. kya din aa gaye.

bigger lol at her PR team trying to compare her to Aamir Khan to ward off the 'interference" issue in her movies

@imagineme - internally, maybe no one... distributors are losing and that's why it's a flop... maybe megastar may decide to compensate distributors like other megastars do...

I want to watch this movie a 2nd time now. Don't want to drag myself to the theater, hope they put it on netflix. 😛 I really thought after the initial high, and after further deliberation, the flaws of the movie would start to set in and I would not be as enamored. But, surprisingly, I still like the movie, and in fact after deliberating on all the refreshing elements of it, I like it even more than before. Is it just me? 😆

^^^ Hahaha. Thanks. It seems all the underestimating I did with this movie in my mind before watching it wasn't really that necessary. 😆 Regardless of the results, I REALLY hope the whole team is proud of this movie because it really was a good movie. And it gave me something to take away from it, even though I was afraid given the narrative I would not able to gain any message or purpose from the movie, but surprisingly, with the refreshing treatment of praful's character, I was able to fully enjoy certain elements of her character despite her other less than stellar character flaws.

Megastar's first co-production and directorial is Teju. You can ask distributors to go after her if their laashein bicchh gayi over its BO outcome. ⭐️

and about salman, i dont like him, but distributors are used to 30-40cr opening day (which is almost double of simrans lifetime collection LMAO megastarni) so thats why the hoopla, with kanganas last three amazing outings, they were most likely expecting and braced themselves for the loss. waisay bhi kitnay ki khareed lee hogi distributors nay? sasti cheez k nuksan pay itna dukh nahin hota😛
