This practise is also challenged under supreme court.

From the very little knowledge I have in Islam one should divorce only if that's the last option available and one just cannot be in a marriage anymore. Importance is given to reconciliation hence the three stages of giving talak. But once you have separated there is no going back. Marriage is no joke and shouldn't be treated like one.
Re-marriage with the intention of marrying 1st husband is not allowed regardless. So the husband cannot tell the wife hey I want you back please marry someone and sleep with him so I could remarry you.
Say the wife marries someone with consent and later divorces or the husband died only then her ex can marry her once again if she consents.
Its not some plot driven drama to kill the current hubby to get back to previous one. And nor does it say women are forced to enter a remarriage and consummate it.
My knowledge is very limited so unable to explain properly.

I thought this triple talaq is vanished frm the society!thank God in our country its not practiced.

Halala is such an abusive practice which is widely used.
In one such case, when the couple got divorced and did not go through the practice of halala and started living as husnad and wife and gave birth to a few kids. Their kids even jn the court of law were termed illegitimate as the halala was not observed. Imagine the ordeal of those innocent kids.

Muslims personal laws in India are highly misused by people especially against women but unfortunately Indian law can't help them as according to Maulana all such things are legal in Sharia .

I remember in 2012 or 2013 one Muslim couple was jailed for child marriage of their daughter but whole gujrati Muslim community and maulvis saved them by saying according to Sharia ladki puberty hit karte hi shadi layak ho jati hai so you can't punish them

And our Gujrat sc proudly announcd that child marriage under Sharia is legal

Search Gujrat sc or HC order so ya all these things are legal in India

halal marriage done to get back to ex husband is a sin in Islam

but Indian Muslim law board supports this instead of following the correct laws
