There are reports of jhanvi ji grooming herself right from surgeries and dance classes , so hindi diction and speaking could be taken up too 😛

Yeah I did mention that. If she wants to work in this industry she needs to know hindi and maybe more than hindi . But since its an old video maybe with all her other classes she went for a diction class too.Training started long after that video. But living in India and being an Indian has nothing to do with knowing hindi and its quite wrong to question like that. The criticism should have been only on her choice of profession and not on her being Indian.

How does she not know hindi?
I'm a south Indian living outside India and I can speak Hindi fluently.

English is essential and important and there is no wrong in learning English and using it. Rather it is very beneficial and important. But when people start equating English with Education/Literate Status, than that is wrong.

I remember once my boss, rejected a person despite him being technically excellent. Because he was weak in English. And I was like why you rejected him, and my boss was like "how will he respond, when superiors converse with him in English ", and I was like "why our bosses don't know Hindi or what?" and that blank and Oops wala expression in my boss's face was hilarious. My Boss is a very good man, mind you, his hindi is pathetic but he always tries to converse in hindi whenever possible. But this corporate setting is what has made him another robot when interacting with superiors.

Anyway, she doesn't need to learn to speak in Hindi properly to act in Hindi films. Ever heard of Katrina or Jacqueline speak in Hindi? If they can do fine without being Indian, Jhanvi, having been brought up in Mumbai - I'm sure she will do more than fine.

but i dont rate katrina or jaqueline very high as actresses for this very reason, that they cant speak hindi properly, its a big disadvantage i feel in terms of expressing emotions through words

unless jhanvi wants to be more of a glamour actress, known more for her looks and dancing than acting

anyway maybe she has improved her hindi by now, i was just commenting on wat i heard in the video

P.S. - not talking specifically about Jhanvi but in general about the cool people (especially from Bollywood) who proudly announce that they can only converse in English.

Hahaha what a reply 😆

See so many of these kinds of people outside of Bollywood too. Their fake accents stick out like a sore thumb.
