Yeah I noticed that too but I figured it was an omission by mistake, why wouldn't they release it in the UK? Will be gutted if they don't.

I don't know the reasons why. The movie was shown in UK three times last year.

The reason might be related to which film distributing companies have they agreed with to promote and release the movie and which markets these companies find more lucrative.
