Totally depends on reviews and wom...however there are multiple rumors about TEPK being sold at high prices:
KriArj has sold India theatrical rights of #ToiletEkPremKatha for 53cr + GST to a Delhi party. It has to collect 145 cr to recover costs!

If this is true then another average or semi-hit

Why not? It will do double the business of JHMS, JJ, Mubarakan, HG or any other recent movies. It will cross Badri & Tubelight as well.

Plagiarized or remake film shd not get NA, why are they even expecting to win one? Is it in the bag already?

Its not plagiarized but a remake ie they paid the original makers. Basically the producers + actor of TEPK is same as Rustom. And we know what happened with Rustom at the NA this year.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is a remake of this National Award-winning Tamil film

Pratibha Devasenapathy| Jul 29, 2017, 03.25 PM IST
Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's upcoming movie 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' has been garnering immense popularity and accolades amongst the media and the fans. The movie is based on a woman who leaves her husband because there is no toilet or hygienic sanitation conditions at her new home. She demands him to build a toilet and only then will she come back to him.

While the concept also propagates Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swacchh Bharat Abhiyaan, did you know it also draws inspiration from this National Award-winning Tamil film called 'Joker'?

The 2016 Tamil film 'Joker' won the National Award for Best Film is directed by Raju Murugan, and revolved around the life of a villager who fights for the rights of his people and also builds a toilet for his new wife. According to sources in the know, the producers of 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' have paid a generous amount to the makers of 'Joker' and who have sworn secrecy to them.

"Although 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is only partly similar to Joker, the producers nevertheless paid up to ensure no copyright allegations cropped up again. The reason why this source of origin is being kept a secret is because any film that is even partially a remake is not eligible for a National award. The producers of 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' want to pitch the movie very strongly for the National awards," says a close source.

Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is slated to release on 11th August, 2017.
