Something is wrong? Nothing is wrong.The Indian audience has finally started rejecting crap that was being churned out of Bollywood all these years.They have become smarter.Even if they have to watch one film a year,no issues with that but they will spend on a wholesome good entertainer and not shitfest like Jagga Jasoos,Jab Harry Met Sejal,etc.

The reason such films do good overseas is because NRIs there are still stuck in the 2000's cheesy Bollywood era.No wonder Kjo's and SRK's movies find such great acceptance overseas.

And condescending NRIs in this forum blame Indian audience for lacking grey cells and being dumb and cinema illiterate.How ironic.😆

Bingo! While Indians in India have moved on...NRIs are still stuck in the past (only wrt to the country they gave up). Seen this for BW and most other aspects too.

Hopefully this becomes a much needed reality check for SRK.

Hasn't done movies with heart and soul in the past years. It's disappointing as someone who likes him to not even have watched one SRK movie in the theatres since 2012 'cause of the kind of movies he is making.

I feel he is a classic example of someone trapped by their own stardom. He needs to choose scripts without thinking about records and being at the top.

JHMS looked bad from the get go and I hope this means there will be no more SRK+Anushka in the future. Oh wait, there is that ALR film. 🥱 Sucks.

IMO, he doesn't have much chemistry with the younger lot of actresses. He should work with the actresses he actually has chemistry with such as Rani, Preity etc and maybe explore new dynamics with the likes of Vidya and others.

He needs to reinvent himself and do it fast.
