Jab Harry Met Sejal' is now looking at a 45 crore first weekend total. It has a partial holiday on Monday, but the weak trend suggests the film will start to show major drops on Monday and crash out on Tuesday. The only hope now is to get to a 80-crore plus lifetime total, which would put it in the same range as FAN', but even that looks difficult with a 45 crore first weekend.

With the opening weekend not quite hitting the roof, the shortfall is now expected to be covered today due to the partial holiday of Rakhi. The collections are expected to be around 25% better than that of a regular Monday and as long as the numbers are still in the double digit range, there are hopes for a reasonable hold during rest of the weekdays. However, if the film fails to go past the 10 crore mark today, it would be quite tough for Jab Harry Met Sejal to keep marching ahead.

Almost all websites are now looking forward to Tuesday's drop as that would be a regular Tuesday. Nowhere I claimed this is a bigger holiday than Eid, hence it's not wise to put words in my mouth, is it 😳😆

PK Ji...no one denied a partial holiday...if u read my post I said Rakhi is a restricted holiday...mujhe kissi website ko dekhne ki zaroorat nahi hai...I am from UP...I know very well ki Rakhi per wahan holiday hota hai ya nahi...I was commenting because u equated a big holiday like Eid with a partial one like Rakshabandhan😉...ab Rakhi ko Eid se compare karke TL flop se hit nahi ho jaayegi😉

Rakhi is self declared holiday ...chutti ho yah na ...hardly any kid goes to school or collage on Rakhi... ...half day toh hota hi hai if not full holiday

Rakhi was partial holiday but now ramazan of 3 days before eid will be counted as EID 😆 its just one day holiday also. And in ramazan rarely any Muslim go to watch movies. Still it opened better than #JHMS .
but here in Maharashtra (Pune) it was not holiday but our seniors gave us a choice and a very handful of colleagues turned out so it can b counted as holiday.

Forget partial holiday, Sunday is universal holiday and still collections were lower so even if Monday was full holiday collections would be no better.
