South movies whose remakes you want in BW, and with which cast?

First of all, I understand originality is what BW needs now. But a well made remake is always better than original boring crap IMHO.
I always wanted a remake of Kannathil Muthamittal, but was always unsure about who should be the lead who can match the common man look and simplicity of Madhavan. I know it might be an unpopular opinion but I think SSR will be excellent for the said. While ladies would be Radhika Apte and Deepika Padukone.
I am a masala movie fan, so I also want Theri and Businessman to be remade in Hindi. I think Varun Dhawan needs a masala action movie, and he is apt for the oddball police officer that Vijay played in Theri. While Businessman, still confused who could be a hero. Sallu would have been apt for he is old now for such kinda roles.
Anyways there are many I want but lets discuss and things will come up.

I thought Akki bought the rights for Theri. I remember reading something about him being in discussion. Didn't he buy the rights to Thupakki to remake as Holiday ? This would be right up his alley. Also dubbed in Hindi rights were also being sold to some TV channel ? So why would they remake it in Hindi ?. All this confuses me.

Om Shanti Oshaana with Alia and Vicky Kaushal but since they doing a movie together it can be Rajkummar Rao

As for kannathil Muthamitaal I think Maddy should play the same part in Hindi. Ladies, excellent choice. SSR I would have thought before Raabta. Now he is in the time out corner acting wise with me.😆

As for remakes, I would like to remake the Vikram movie I and Anniyan. I would like SRK to play the role played by Suresh Gopi. I would like Ranveer to play the part played by Vikram.

Akki would be great for the movie. Akki with kids is magic(Janwaar, Rowdy Rathore).

I can't think of anyone in Anniyan man. Vikram is Ambi-Remo-Anniyan(Aaparichit) for me.



Have you watched Yennai Arindhaal, I love its songs. This movie is so apt for Aamir, IMHO. I never hear about Ajit, how big is he in Tamil Nadu?

Yeah read in wiki he left movies for racing. I am just curious because he is called Thala, and that title means something big I heard.

No just songs and few YouTube clips. Ajith's acting is eye based IMO, and I always feel nobody acts better than Aamir from the eyes. I mean the way he looks at anything whether heroine, other characters or posters etc etc is so excellent.
