Nah,

He did films after the Aishwaryia/Salman scandal.

Reason he failed is because he could not compete in popularity with the actors who debuted around the same time as him.

Most of the media focus was on Hrithik at the time who overshadowed him when star quality was concerned.

There is more to being popular than good acting. Popularity helps you get more films which he lacked.

I loved the part where they are having breakfast. Very nice observation Boss. His wife is so unassuming !!

VO was good guy caught in bad situation. He did not follow basic rules of BW. His bravado cost him goodwill in BW.

Luck did not favour him, if some of his movies worked and Sallu's movies failed, the narrative for him would have been - The brave man who stood up to Salman to protect Ash.

His bad luck that whatever work he did, was not successful.

He deserved a better chance coz he is talented.

I remember when I was in 6th std saathiya had released and I had a huge crush on vivek and I loved his hairstyle...

He appears to be a good person just like his father suresh oberoi. I love watching suresh oberoi on awakening with Bk shivani. True gentleman he is.😛

I feel Vivek should try doing non commercial cinema, where he can showcase his talent more and make a mark. And he shouldnt wait for solo hero roles. He can do some good supporting roles or villians role also.

I think I should also give credit to his wife as well. She seems like a very lovely person, I like how simple and mellow she is. I know now days some people see such house wives as not so empowering but if she is doing things for her husband and her family out of love and kindness and they appreciate each other then I guess it's equally empowering as eventually it comes down to her choice compared to so many materialistic star wives.
