Better Singer--Shreya vs Sonu - Page 2

@justmoi: I didn't mean to offend you in any way.. and I'm not a South Indian. So I have no knowledge of how big which industry is. But I do follow music and I am a little classically trained. I may be wrong but I believe that SPB is the biggest singer not just in south but in Bollywood too. Then why does he say and I quote, "there are two amazing singers in contemporary slow- Hariharan and Shankar Mahadevan. But if there is someone who is even better than the two - then it's Sonu Nigam." Besides I don't think how well you sing in different languages should be a judge of your singing prowess. It's how well you catch your surs and taals that's important. In either case I'm going to peace out because honest to goodness I believe where singing is concerned it's very difficult to chose between shreya and sonu. Both are amazing. Both are extremely talented and very versatile. They are really at the top of Bollywood music chart.

Better singer Sonu. Better eye candy Shreya.

For some weird reason I find Sonu's voice very dull

If I HAD to pick one, it's Shreya for me 😳

Both are good.Difficult to pick one.

Sonu Nigam (I love both and this was a hard choice)

more versatile and a better performer on stages

I also like the experiments he sometimes does with well established songs...one that I can clearly remember and love is the AR Tribute in GIMA.

I dont think I've seen Shreya experiment tbh (keeps it similar to playback version)
