Aishwarya refuses to work with Abhishek.

Bachchan make an interesting pair. For
quite sometime there has been talks
going on about Ash and Abhi's pairing
in Gulab Jamun' but the latest that is
heard about the much awaited project
is that it got shelved.
Aishwarya has not given her nod to be
part of the project because she is not
much impressed with her role.
According to a report in DNA,
''Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek
Bachchan were expected to costar in
Gulab Jamun produced by Anurag
Kashyap.'' ''Now, Aishwarya has said no
to the film as she didn't like her role.''
Meanwhile, Aishwarya has given her
nod to star in Fanney Khan' opposite
Anil Kapoor.
"Aishwarya's next film will be Fanney
Khan with Anil Kapoor. She has also said
yes to Mani Ratnam's next. For now, she
has asked the makers ofGulab Jamun to
make certain changes to the script and
come back to her with the altered script,
and then she will decide if she wants to
be a part of the film.
"That film is not Anurag's film. It is by a
new director and he (Anurag) will be
producing it. We are still discussing it.''
"We can't announce anything yet. I have
always maintained that it is better if the
film's producer announces it."

As usual media twisting the news. She said no to the film because she didn't like the role, Abhishek doing it will also depend on whether or not he likes his role.

I'd like to watch a light romantic drama with Aish and SRK along the likes of their ADHM characters. Aish isn't a great actor, but I feel she is so underutilized by Bollywood. Seems like they don't have any idea what they have in her.

Very few real life couples have good chemistry on screen too

A good director should cast them in a mature romance story
