Katrina Kaif will NOT be playing a cameo in Thugs: YRF makers confirms

We have all been excited about the dream team that has come together for the YRF Thugs of Hindostan. That's right, Aamir Khan will be seen sharing screen space with the legend Amitabh Bachchan and the leading men will be supported by none other than Katrina Kaif and Aamir's protegee Fatima Sana Shaikh.

However, a recent news had it that Katrina Kaif's role on the film is extremely short and in fact the buzz was that Kat's role could very well be tagged as a cameo appearance. A leading daily had revealed a source as saying, "Katrina Kaif has a small role in Thugs of Hindostan. In fact, she will be seen in TOH only for a total of 10-20 minute."

While the news came as a shocker to us, the YRF team revealed exclusively to Pinkvilla that there is no truth to it.

When Pinkvilla contacted the TOH team, the YRF spokesman revealed, "There is no truth to this whatsoever." Well, that sure sounds like happy news, doesn't it?

Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh have been shooting for the movie at Malta for some time now. Yesterday, we saw Katrina head to the shoot location, to join her TOH team. Katrina took a break from her hectic Jagga Jasoos promotions to join Aamir and Fatima, and we sure can't wait to catch come candid pictures of this interesting shoot.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film is being made on a lavish budget, and features high octane action on a ship. An international crew has been working hard to create these elaborate ships.
