If I were Deepika's image consultant, I'd tell her that she's making a mistake by trying to be this global superstar at this stage. Unlike PC, Deepika is at the top of Bollywood. Even though PC is a phenomenal actor, she was slowly fading away, so she pulled a masterstroke by moving to America. Deepika had no need to do such a thing. It was out of pure ego that she did.

Deepika was getting the best roles. She is yet to work with Salman and Aamir. Has she done a movie with HR yet? I don't think so. There's a lot of mileage left for her in Bollywood, which wasn't the case for PC.

Deepika tried her hands into Hollywood 3-years too soon. As much as people criticize PC, she played her cards perfectly. Deepika followed her whims and fancies. The fact that Deepika is still considered to be among the topmost Bollywood female actors despite not having substantial movies--speaks volumes as to how big she was/is and relevant she is.

it's easy to make fun of her but the last time bollywood had good movies in a row were with her movies in 2013

No proper roles or co-star for her right now. She is too expensive and better actress for flower pot role and too long in tooth to showcase with really young actors like Tiger. Female oriented is pretty much bust. Unless mom / simran works.

If she works with Khans it will age her. Anu is still on right side of 30. She is working with Ranveer. RK's next 2 movies have actress. Varun looks too boyish. Sid needs to pull himself up. SSR went belly-up this year. He needs to find his bearing again. Hrithik hasn't signed any new movie. And his papa will do budget control to avoid use of calculator. Kumar tends to go for cheaper actress. Devgan wants younger pairing. The only guy she is left to pair is Irfan which she is doing.

She needs to pick a really good story and produce it or find backer. Waarna she will end up doing XXX movies. And that will be pity.

Padmavati has potential to benefit the male star more than her. 😊
